On April 1, we kicked off the 7th annual Okanagan Angel Summit with $180K on the line for one ambitious startup. This year’s group of angel investors reviewed more than 35 applications from companies across Western Canada. After careful consideration, 24 startups have been selected to advance as this year’s Quarter Finalists. These companies are now preparing to take the stage and deliver three-minute pitches in hopes of earning a spot in the next round and ultimately a chance at the big cheque.
This year’s Quarter Finalists include diverse companies from across Western Canada in a variety of sectors including: agritech, manufacturing, gaming & animation, medtech, and more.

Following the Quarter Final pitches, the investor group will reconvene to determine which 12 companies will advance to the Semi-Finals. From there, they’ll narrow the field once more, selecting the final six startups who will pitch live at the public finale on May 22.
If you’re new to the Okanagan Angel Summit, it’s an eight-week program designed to bridge the gap between early-stage startups and accredited angel investors. Through a hands-on learning experience, participants gain insights into how companies are evaluated, take part in due diligence, and improve their chances of securing investment. The program culminates in a live public pitch event, where investors will choose one company to receive the $180,000 investment fund.
