KELOWNA, B.C., Sept. 25, 2026: GreenStep is pleased to announce that it has ranked No. 242 on The Globe and Mail’s 2026 Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies, recognizing Canadian businesses that have demonstrated significant revenue growth.
GreenStep achieved 110% three-year revenue growth from 2022 to 2025, earning the company a place among 375 businesses recognized on this year’s ranking. GreenStep also ranked No. 19 in the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Professions category.
The recognition comes as organizations across the business and tourism sectors face growing expectations to demonstrate measurable progress on sustainability. Over the past three years, GreenStep has expanded its technology-enabled services to help organizations measure their environmental performance, plan and implement improvements, and pursue recognized sustainability certifications.
“Businesses are moving beyond setting sustainability goals and are looking for practical ways to measure, manage and improve their impact,” said Angela Nagy, President and CEO of GreenStep. “Our 110% growth over the past three years has come from helping businesses understand where they are today, build action plans to improve, and weave sustainability into the way they operate. Being recognized on this list is a reflection of our team and the businesses we’ve had the opportunity to serve on their sustainability journeys.”
That growth has taken place across both GreenStep’s technology and service offerings. The company has continued to develop tools such as EcoBase Carbon Measurement and the Sustainability Platform, while expanding programs including EcoFund, the Sustainable Tourism Pathway and GSTC Certification. New partnerships have further broadened the resources and expertise available to businesses, and GreenStep continues to adapt its offerings as sustainability regulations and compliance requirements evolve.
Canada’s Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking that launched in 2019 to celebrate the achievements of innovative businesses in Canada. To qualify for this program, companies voluntarily completed an in-depth application process and fulfilled targeted revenue requirements. In total, 375 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking.
The full list of 2026 winners along with editorial coverage is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine. The list is also published online.
“Our annual ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies celebrates the innovation, ambition and resilience of businesses across the country, and we’re always excited to share as many of these standout stories as we can, including insight from the entrepreneurs themselves on how other companies can succeed, too,” said Dawn Calleja, editor of Report on Business magazine.
“The Globe and Mail congratulates the winners of Canada’s Top Growing Companies 2026 on this exceptional achievement,” said Andrew Saunders, president and CEO of The Globe and Mail. “Each of these organizations has shown an extraordinary ability to adapt, innovate and grow amid ongoing change. Their achievements reflect the ingenuity and determination of Canadian entrepreneurs and business leaders who are helping shape the future of our economy.”
